Question / Help Using Elgato HD60 and HD60 Pro

Hi OBS,

I have an Elgato HD60 and an Elgato HD60 Pro. My PS4 connects to the HD60, and a camera plugs into the HD60 Pro. In OBS I can load the HD60 and stream the PS4 video/audio, but the HD60 Pro does not show up. In its place is "Elgato Helper Device (unavailable)".

I am using the latest version of OBS Studio with the latest installation package from Elgato (64bit). Trying to install Elgato Game Capture 32bit version throws a warning "install the latest 64bit version which contains 32bit support".

I recently followed this advice on a thread https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/elgato-hd60-pro-capture-issue.44159/page-3:

OOAAHAHHHKkk.

After taking a look at the logs:
- Uninstall the Game Capture software, following this guide.
- After its uninstalled, reboot PC, then install the latest game capture software from this link.
- Install it, then reboot again. New firmware may be loaded on the HD60 Pro. If so, you will be prompted to reboot.
- Now add the Pro in OBS and see if issue is fixed
- If not, in OBS, set the res/fps to custom, and set them to 1080p, and 59.94fps. According to the logs it seems the Pro is stuck on starting in 720p somehow.
- If still not fixed, let me know.

I did get a firmware upgrade on the HD60 Pro, but unfortunately I still get the "Elgato Helper Device (unavailable)".

Update: If I unplug the HD60 and restart OBS, the HD60 Pro appears in the same scene and source as the HD60.
