Question / Help using avermedia live gamer hd

Hey.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something here but I've set all the avermedia up correctly as far as I'm aware, I can select it as a video device in OBS and it captures my desktop fine.

then when I open a game (csgo) it seems to continue capturing my desktop and not the actual game. Do I have to play borderless in order for it to work?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I can't find anything on it specifically.

Are you using a capture card with only 1PC?

capture cards are not to be used with single PC setups. there is no advantage to doing it that way. cap cards are for 2 PC setups and console+PC
