It's nothing, for me this error was resolved like this: Video Capture suddenly stopped working
Also, you may create new Scene Collection and add cam again. Also, try to run OBS Studio as admin.

What Size says to you (what values OBS Studio shows to you in transform dialog)?

I tried all that steps but is not working. With an external usb camera works always well but is not so practice.

My scene transform values:

I followed the instructions but still not working ...
It seems a different problem. The internal camera works well in all other programs like Skype, but I never got any image from the internal camera on OBS.
With an external UBS camera it works well.

Activate/Deactivate button do something to you?

If not, try next:
  • Run OBS Studio 32-bit (find the bin\32bit\obs32.exe)
  • Setup Resolution/FPS Type to Custom in 'Video Capture Device' properties. Then type 320x240 (or 640x480, for example) under Resolution field and choose different Video Format.
  • Run OBS Studio as admin.
  • Make sure that security software doesn't block your cam. Make sure that other program not using the cam simultaneously.

Finally the internal cam is working well, thank you very much.

In 'Video Capture Device' I changed the properties: FPS Type to Custom and resolution to 640x480

Problem solved!
Note: after changing the FPS Type to Custom the cam works with any resolution including 1280x720.
