Question / Help Used to stream PUBG fine at 60 FPS without V-sync. Now V-sync is NEEDED to stream at a solid 60 FPS.

Before I updated OBS Studio to 20.0.1 I was able to play and stream PUBG perfectly fine. Streaming at a consistent 60 FPS, and playing with an average of 80 FPS. Now, it is very hard for me to stream PUBG since I need to play with v-sync on. Toggling v-sync on PUBG allows me to stream at a consistent 60 FPS with minor drops to around 58 FPS; however, playing the actual game is fairly hard because I can witness any Frame rate between 60-30. I'm actually very good at this game and would really like to stream it. But with having the lack of a constant high frame rate in game makes me unable to enjoy streaming the game. - PLEASE HELP

OBS Studio 20.0.1
CPU- i7 4770k

vsync is love vsync is life
it was always this way, 20.0.1 has nothing to do with it. you cant max gpu so obs has some of its processing power to do its job.
maybe try adaptive vsync in nvidia panel and disabling vsync in game. but this is not 100% reliable. some games dont like adaptive vsync

But why is this becoming an issue just as of now? I've never, ever, ever, used v-sync while streaming PUBG

PUBG has released recent updates that are HORRIBLY optimized and increase the load on your video card beyond the threshold where you're able to do other things on the video card at the same time.
