Thanks Suslik .Does that mean that I am not gaining anything by using i444 to capture HDset-top box signals at 1080i ? Because there's not yuy2 format to choose in OBS Studio settings. The only available ones are NV12 and i420 both of which are equivalent to i420 which is lower than i422.Since OBS works by creating putting video capture card output on a scene and then rendering it and hence able to create i444 format. I have uploaded the log file . Please note the four red markings in the log file below and comment on them. Why is it being shown as downscale filter when i am not downscaling . Rather i am cropping the 1920x1080 scene to 1920x816 to remove black borders and then stretching it back to 1920.1080 for recording .
