Question / Help Use OBS audio output as a microphone source

Hello,

I am a piano teacher and I need to move my lessons online under today's circumstances. Since I need 2 webcams and 2 mics I decided to install OBS to set scenes and mix audio.

I don't know if you will have the patience to read and help me, in any case I will bring you back below what I need.

  1. I got an M-Audio soundcard with attached 1 mic for the voice 1 mic for the piano
  2. 2 webcams (1 for my face and 1 for the keyboard already configured with VirtualCam plugin)
I found many tutorials and guides to make the Skype audio flow into OBS but none about the reverse process: how do I grab the audio output from OBS and send it over to a Skype listener?

I need is to "group" the audio inputs in OBS and route them to Skype AND my headphones. Do you think it's possible?

Thanks

PS: I forgot to say that I tried Virtual-Cable following this guide . OBS picks up all the input correctly and I can monitor them, but if I select in Skype the virtualcable as input device...nothing goes through..

OBS cannot do this, itself.
You will need to use VBAudio or Voicemeeter to capture the OBS audio and pipe it out to a virtual input device (it sounds like you have a virtual output device set up, which would play back to your headphones), but we cannot provide support for their software.
