Hi, I was wondering if I copied the installed version of obs to a USB, could I take it to another computer and record from the USB

Yes, just make sure you run OBS with the "-portable" flag. I don't recommend files to the USB directly, though, if you're saving local files.

Run obs.exe from the command line with "-portable" after it (like "C:\path\to\obs.exe -portable") or just make a batch file that does that for you and put it in the directory with OBS.
