Question / Help USB microphone stops working after ~30 minutes or so

After about 30 minutes into streaming, my USB mic quality goes completely down the drain (sounds robotic). This is always fixed by closing and reopening OBS, but then just happens again about another half hour later. No other audio sources (aux) are affected. I don't have the option of using a microphone on aux as I'm already using that for game audio.

Using Windows 10 pro.

I have the latest version of OBS and am using a Blue Yeti mic. I've been using OBS for years and this problem has only started recently. Problem does not happen in any other applications and is always fixed by restarting OBS (I was in a discord call the entire time that was unaffected by this issue over several OBS restarts). I haven't made any recent changes to my hardware or drivers.

Attached is a log file from a recent session where this happened.

`20:37:14.502: adding 975 milliseconds of audio buffering, total audio buffering is now 1044 milliseconds`

This is the indirect cause - audio buffering is usually caused by the system being unable to keep up, like if CPU usage is constantly in the high 90s. It could be caused by the large number of items in your scene collection, or other external factors.

One way to test this situation would be to create a blank scene collection (the Scene Collection menu along the top) with just 1 or two sources (say, a game capture and a video capture device) and see if the issue still happens.

As far as I know, the next version of OBS may have a couple minor fixes to this issue that may solve the problem.
The latest nightly build (as of this post) for Windows can be downloaded here: https://ci.appveyor.com/api/buildjobs/3xsuv55kh4hfig33/artifacts/22.0.2-254-g87ca80de.zip

It turned out to be a USB issue, moving the microphone to a different bus solved it (I have two PCI express USB cards). Just streamed for 4 hours with no interruptions.
