Bug Report USB Heaset (Mixamp) Crash Bug

Hello,

I'm posting because I recently was looking to transfer from Xsplit to OSB however I'm running into quite an irritating bug.

I start running OSB and all goes well until I either start or preview my stream. Once I do one of those things, my headset (Astro A40s + 2013 Astro Mixamp) will crash, cutting off all audio until I manually reset it.

I attempted the suggested bug fix by installing the a0467 patch but alas; no success.

Hopefully this bug will be routed as quickly as possible, I just wanted to make sure that my specific case wasn't in need of special attention due to the fact that it's a Headset > Mixamp > USB connection as opposed to a traditional USB headset.

Thanks,
CnD Anders of www.CnDgaming.com

You'll have to be more specific. Does OBS crash with a crash message or crash log?

Or does your headset not even work? All I'm even doing is just reading what's being played. I'm not modifying the device, I'm just capturing desktop audio.

can you post a screen shot of your playback devices ? try going to your currently default playback properties > advanced and give exclusive mode applications priority.

OBS doesn't crash at all, it's just the headset that bugs out, however I think it's due to a direct interaction that OBS has with it.

My headset works perfectly under all other circumstances, but when I start previewing my stream or streaming with OBS it crashes the headset (the headset needs to be restarted and just stops working outright).
