Anyone have experience with any USB Capture Cards? I just got a new gaming laptop and was thinking about turning it into a streaming machine for my desktop but I can't seem to find any info online about anyone doing the same. I have only found a few posts where people say their USB Capture Cards aren't that great. Any help is appreciated.

There are a few out there, but unless you're using a USB 3.0 capture device (which generally require very specific USB chipsets) they're limited to low resolutions and framerates (and/or poor image fidelity thanks to aggressive on-device compression... which won't offload anything from OBS by the way) due to the bandwidth limitations of USB 2.0. If you have one of those limited USB 3.0 chipsets, a Micomsoft XCAPTURE-1 is highly recommended as it delivers strong, solid performance.
