Question / Help USB 2.0 bandwidth usage question.

I have streamed on and off for years but just this last year started a new project where I live stream to YouTube of my backyard Pond. I spent all last summer working on a pond so that I could mount cameras and watch it from inside a warm house. To play it cheap I stayed with USB web cameras because of the simplicity of connecting them and more I could pipe the waterfall sound right into my sound system which other type of cameras such as IP cameras wouldn't work out all that well.

For this I was able to find a USB Extender over Cat5 network cable which allows me to place the cameras up to 150~ feet away from the computer. I built custom housings for the cameras which as of this point seems to be working and the cameras have not died as of yet. I currently have 3 Logitech c310 cameras with two of them being outside sharing a 4 port USB Extender. I'm planning on putting a 3rd camera outside (Logitech 920) soon which comes to my main question for today.

How much bandwidth does a web camera use (1280x720)? How many cameras can USB support when it comes to total bandwidth needed -- not counting the limitations of Windows USB and it's 27 or so devices support.

Is there anyway I can monitor how much bandwidth the overall USB hubs are using at any given time?

Also interesting note using more than 1 Logitech camera with the focus and other issues. I found, not sure yet, but I found that the cameras are based on the hub and any camera sharing the same hub will as well share the focus.

Oh well...
If you are in a cold climate the cold weather effects the quality of the webcams because they wre never meant to be used outside, They make some heated enclosures that are used for security cams..
I looked into a lot of this some time ago but it got too complicated and expensive...
Here's my current live stream..https://www.twitch.tv/banyarola The haziness is the weather..

Yes, I'm testing them out for first time now. They seem to have made the first freeze. Here's a fast video of me installing the second camera outside and what I used.

The fun part here is that they are cheap cameras so if one dies I haven't lost much money. They have lasted a lot longer than I would have guessed and as well they have really good sound. I do have a box sound problem I need to work out next summer due to it being inside a plastic holder, but for the most part all seems to be working great.

Looks nice...It would have been easier to move the house closer to the pond...LOL..
It's not the cameras dying due to weather, it's also the image quality that gets affected with weather extremes..
Where I am it can go below zero regularly in the winter and single digits are the norm at times.

You lucky guy! I wanted it to get that cold here just to see what happens! lol

But what I can't believe is OBS Studio. I been using Xsplit for years for gaming and never really liked OBS Standard until I found, stupid me, that there was an OBS Studio! I love this thing! I'm even, when ever I get around to it, to donate.

I also used to have an Xsplit paid license subscription but their support really sucked..It would take days to get a reply and then the reply would ask for more info...OBS is good for my use..I don't game so I'm happy with it...
They are located in Hong Kong and I wasn't too keen with them having my personal info.
I'm streaming to Twitch..They save videos of your stream and the quality is good..Plus, I have Amazon Prime and there are so extra benefits with that also.
