Upscaling within OBS vs upscaling in Davinci Resolve

I have a 1440p monitor.

Let's say I wanna upscale a 1440p gameplay to 4k in order to preserve quality through Youtube 4k bitrate benefit.

Is it better to put my canvas res at 1440p and output res at 4k with a bicubic filter on

or

Is it better to capture at 1440p and render it at 4k in Davinci Resolve?
