Question / Help Upon changing file path to .avi instead of .flv I can't record?

Hello,

A day or two ago, I changed the file path .flv to .avi, as I hate .flv and have no reason to use it. When I try to record now, it gives me an error and says to check the file path. Does it suddenly break when you change .flv to another format?

AVI is not supported by OBS. You can either record in crash-resistant FLV or in MP4.

Seriously, FLV, a crappy format that is not supported by some video editors, including the one I'm using? That is such crap.

You can just remux FLV to MP4 if you need to edit it.
