Bug Report Upload speed

Hello,

I would like to stream but my upload speed is a problem. I have 3,5 mb/s upload speed but I can't get it to work.
In the right-bottom corner my upload speed varies with 50kb/s until 6000kb/s. How can I get a higher minimum?
My stream is fluid for 5sec and then back to frames ( 50kb/s upload )

Forgive me, I'm confused.. You want it to send out more data in low activity scenes? It's not supposed to go very high in low/no activity scenes. Really low activity scenes don't send much data because there's no video activity. It's just the video compression.

If you have 3.5 upload, I'd probably try like 3000/3000, then keep lowering them 100-200 increments until you don't get frame drops for a consistently long period of time.

CBR in advanced is what you want if you -really- want to keep at the same rate, but honestly you shouldn't ever need to do that, and the quality for CBR is a bit lower anyway.

the fluctuations in kb/s is because the data required for a still or minimal movement scene needs little data upload to be sent compared to when you are broadcasting a high action scene.

the bitrate will increase but you may be dropping frames because 6000 is beyond your reach on a 3.5 up connection try setting 3000 for both vbv max and buffer and see what happens.

also bear in mind your computer specs as you may be hitting your cpu usage cieling(just an added thought)
