All of a sudden after the most recent update my Upload would drop and I would get massive FPS loss
NxdJskJ.png
then It would disconnect me from Twitch.tv then say I have to wait cause Twitch thinks i'm online still witch causes me to lose a lot of viewers.

I'm down scaling 1920 x 1200 to 1280 x 720 with 60FPS
Use CBR/CBR PADDING: Both checked
Quality : Tested 5-10 still same problem
Max bitrate : tried 1000kbps - 2000kbps my upload is 2.2mbps Download is 20.2mbps
x264 CPU preset : tried Veryfast - slowest
Keyframes Interval: 2

21:16:48: Total frames rendered: 27097, number of late frames: 4 (0.01%) (it's okay for some frames to be late)
21:16:48: Total duplicated frames to ensure constant framerate: 3 (0.01%)
21:16:54: RTMPPublisher::SocketLoop: Graceful loop exit
21:16:57: Number of times waited to send: 124, Waited for a total of 416115 bytes
21:16:57: Number of b-frames dropped: 4831 (18%), Number of p-frames dropped: 4899 (18%), Total 9730 (36%)
You dropped 36% of all frames in that particular session. Which does suggest a bandwidth/connection issue.

Could you run an upload test here, making sure to test to a server near the one you'd prefer to stream to? So as to get a good idea of what your connection to that location is like.

OBS did not somehow get more inefficient at using your bandwidth. Now, Twitch may be part of the equation but this does nothing to change the fact you were dropping 36% of all your frames. Which really boils down to the connection between you and Twitch.

There are several things to try/do to counter this:
  • Try a different Twitch.TV server, the one you're using may simply be experiencing issues.
  • Drop the framerate in steps of 50 Kbps at a time until it stops dropping frames.
  • Get a better Internet connection.
