Hi guys,

New to the forum! I've been gaming since a long time and now I'm recording the game we do, so my team can see them.

OBS is at the lastest version, here's my current rig:

AMD Ryzen 3600X stock
16gb 3200mhz CAS14
Samsung 960 evo 250gb for OS
WD Blue 3d 1TB for DATA/games/Recording
Asus RX5700 with lastest adrenaline driver.

So, I tried a couple of scenario: CBR at 6k, 8k, 10, 20, 30k, using AMD encoder, when Uploading to y outube, (1080p60), quality isn't that nice.

using x264, I can see the CPU reach high usage when playing Warzone, with a GPU rescale (output) to 720p60, using CRF at 15, faster, profile high. Upload to youtube isn't good.

See these video:

1080P60 using AMD encoder

720p60 using x264 with CRF at 15

This one is my last log of a 1080P random I did, I can uplaod the video soon on youtube, using 1080p60 AMD encoder weith CQP at 20

so, what am I doing wrong? any help is appreciate, I just want some good quality video, I'm not live streaming. :)

Note: all using Lanczos

Thanks

I have been having the same issue.

I have tried every setting available, nothing fixes the problem:

While streaming live to youtube, any combinations of settings on OBS. I get a live stream of 360p. When I'm done with the live the quality is back to normal at 1080p during playback.

Upload stream of 8000 kbps, not render or lag or dropped frame whatsoever, still during the live stream the quality is on the youtube live stream page is stuck to 360p

I tried Streamyard, I got a live stream of 720p right away (Streamyard only does 720p for now).
