Updating to 27.2.2 breaks Virtual Camera

Hi!

So this morning I got the 27.2.2 update. It broke Virtual Camera. MS Teams crashes when starting with virtual camera. I tried the incremental update from 27.2.1. I tried the full udpate. I reverted to 27.2.1 and Virtual Camera works again.

On Windows 10.

if I’ve selected automatic updates in OBS and my OBS version is currently at 27.2.1, is there a way to stop the update from happening and causing the virtual cam issue occurring?

I have OBS 27.2.2 on Windows 10 and also the virtual camera stopped working. When will they fix it?

Ok, you can ignore this, I obviously wasn’t thinking straight when I asked this question as the answer is so obvious…. Just start OBS on a disconnected internet and then change the setting. Either way, I don’t think OBS updates automatically anyway, it just informs if a new updated version is available….so no harm can be done :)
