Updated OBS to 26.1 and now OBS won't open

I updated to the newest update last night, and everything was working before. Today, I try to open OBS and nothing will open. Nothing shows up as a process in the task manager, but a chat bar will show up for a few seconds and then disappear. I was using OBS.live, but original OBS does not work, either. I have tried completely uninstalling OBS, deleting all files, and restarting my computer multiple times but nothing works. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Update your 3rd party plugins (usually an out of date obs-websocket or StreamFX causes this).

I've updated both of those and it still doesn't open

Can confirm this fixed it for me. I had the same problem as OP and updated my OBS web socket

I appreciate your response! I updated to version 4.8 of websocket, does that sound like the most current one? I had to find it myself on github, I don't know if that is the right version or not. If you could send/tell me wherever you downloaded the newest web socket that would be very appreciated.

I had the same problem and updating websocket allowed me to use OBS, but not my websocket remote won't connect.
