Question / Help Updated OBS and now it keeps crashing

I updated my OBS last week, and now it keeps crashing and gives me an error message saying "Encoder overloaded". My CPU is at about 15%, and my PC is fairly new.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this without changing the settings on my stream?

You're overloading your video card. Try turning down settings either in obs (mostly resolution and framerate) or in your game.

Thanks for your reply. But why the sudden change? Why is my videocard all of the sudden getting overloaded when I've never had an issue before?
