Question / Help Update to 24.0.3 failed: Couldn't load manifest file

When I try to update from OBS 23.2.1 (64bit) to OBS 24.0.3 by OBS autoupdate I get this error message. Did the developpers forget to supply the manifest file or is it a problem on my machine?

Uninstall OBS Studio, then download the full version from the OBS website and install this. Your settings are unaffected by the reinstall.

Hoping it will be useful, you have probably installed the program as an administrator (as I did).
Close OBS and run it again with administrative privileges (DX key -> run as administrator). The update request will appear again and this time it will be completed without problems.
Obviously it only works if you can use an administrator account in the pc.

Thanks for adding this, running as admin worked for me, no reinstall necessary.
