Update hanging

Trying to update It hangs with waiting for OBS to exit, then just hangs any ideas please

Close any lingering copies of OBS. Check Task Manager details tab for obs64.exe.

Did that now says "Update failed to download files"

You can download the installer for the latest version from obsproject.com and just install over the top of your existing installation to update it. Just don't UNinstall the existing one first, or it will remove your scenes/profiles.
