Question / Help Update failed: Couldn't load manifest file

Hello,

This has happened in the past and I had to uninstall and reinstall OBS, which I would prefer not to do. Upon asking if I want to update I click okay and I get that error. I am currently still on 19.0.2 since I haven't been able to update at all.

Are you using any internet security or antivirus software outside the default Windows Defender?

I am having the same issues but I do have antivirus called Norton.

Yes. Using Kaspersky total security. Just paused protection and tried again. Same error message.

You might need to uninstall completely before the block will stop. We see this pretty commonly, I'm afraid :(

Try uninstalling the AV just to test, and let me know if that fixes it or not.

Just try to run as admintraitor cause i ddi run it as admintraitor and it fixed
