Unwanted echo/reverb during monitoring and recording

I tried a different mic, and also a fresh OBS install on a fresh Windows 10 installation. OBS was working fine until a couple days ago. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I forgot to add: I tried another recording program, and didn't get the echo/reverb.

Problem solved:

It was a dodgy set of earbuds. W the actual F.

Why earbuds would affect the record quality is beyond me.

Now if I could eliminate the slight delay I hear in my earbuds, this would be back to where it was from originally.
