Question / Help Unwanted cropping of video

I can't figure this one out... the video I'm streaming in the video player looks fine, but in the preview window (and while streaming) it cuts off about of third of the video on the right-hand side and on the bottom. No idea what could cause that. I've tried messing with aspect ratios both in the video player and Open Broadcaster Software with no effect. I've used "edit scene" to get it well within the frame. In fact, there's letterboxing to the left and right of the video... Am I missing something? Any help would be amazing! Thanks.

It just means a resolution mismatch. What are you streaming, and what is your base resolution? Also, please post a log file if possible

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to stream a PS3 game through a USB video grabber. The video is fine in the bundled software (except it's locked to 4:3), but in OBS the bottom 5th of the video is missing.

Base resolution is the same as the PC monitor (1920x1080) and the game is in 576i in 16:9

EDIT: It worked fine in XSplit if that tells you anything

What type of content/program are you trying to capture? How are you capturing it? The only source in that log file is listed as DirectShow input "OEM Device" and is running at 720x480.
