Hi guys,

Sorry, my old post was not in the right positionof the forum...

Normally I speak german but ok...
I have the new OBS-Software.
Im new so I want to understand how OBS works.

First I saw that there are a lot of options:

I can setup the Proccesor- utilization from ultrafast to placebo (I dont know why this name^^)
It will give the processor more power, thats why it can analyse the images faster, am I right?
Faster analyse will give better quality, but ther is also the option of the bitrate. (Placebo= more CPU-utilization)

So, when I have low bitrate can i compensate it with a huge bandwrith of video-bitrate?
Because if the bitrate is very low but the processor utilization at a very high level, there is also a good eye-friendly video.

And there is also the bicubic option, should i leave that or tick the option "Lanczos"?

Do you think 2.5MB will give me a good quality to record games in Full-HD? / With ultrafast or superfast...

for recording use "x264 low cpu" from simple mode output.
yes use lanczos, if you scale to lower than canvas, if canvas=scaled resolution it doesnt matter
faster compression = lower quality and less cpu usage and vice versa but for streaming veryfast is enough on 1pc setup. for recording ultrafast or superfast with crf=[15-25] - depends on cpu and what you like
ultrafast...placebo are only compression levels. then there are bitrate controls like crf, cbr, vbr etc...
if you have intel cpu use quicksync icq=23 for recording, it will free cpu power
remember to always use vsync in game
