Hey all, hope this is the right place for this!
Background info:
So earlier today my computer decided to auto-update to Windows 10 and I pretty much haven't been able to stream anything since. If my upload speed does hit constant Mbps, and I AM somehow able to stream, it's extremely laggy and I'll have dropped frames hitting 90%-95%.
Prior to today, I was streaming perfectly on Windows 7 with an UL speed of around 10 Mbps and a 3500 kbps Max Bitrate. After Windows 10, it looked as though everything would still work, but as soon as I hit "Start Streaming" the UL speed became super erratic going everywhere from 3000 to 756 to even 0 kbps (and giving stream viewers an error). The little color indicator box (which used to more or less always stay constantly green) was flickering green/red/yellow/orange.
With that said, I downgraded back to Windows 7 but the problem still persisted. I notice my internet speed was around 2.5 (low for me) but after I got off a call with my ISP it's back at 10 Mbps. With that said, now (whilst on Windows 7) I'll hit "start streaming" and the issue above still happens. With connection out of the way, I'm wondering if this is an OBS related issue rather than an OS one? Or maybe whatever messed OBS up on Windows 10 is still messing it up now even while on 7?
If anything, is there any way to save my Scenes and Sources, and try reinstalling OBS?
Any help is greatly appreciated, and if any of the above sounds convoluted, I'd be glad to reclarify.
Thanks everyone!
