The error started occuring about a week ago and now OBS keeps on crashing. I went back to an older version of OBS, still crashing. Updated my Nvidia drivers, OBS stopped crashing for 2 days and now it's doing it again.
I usually record with the software and it worked fine for 5 months now, don't know what made it crash all of the sudden.

The game i try to record: iRacing.com (Racing Sim).

Thanks in advance.

Have tried the following things:
- Other game => OBS Worked (only the black screen problem but that isn't the problem right now).
- New Scene, new Game Capture => OBS crashed the first second i tried recording (not even streaming).
- Taking out stream servers and just recording => OBS Crashes immediatly again.
- Tried running iRacing in windowed mode => OBS crashing immediatly again.

Forgot to mention, the 2 days it magically worked were 4th and 5th of August (if that is any help).
Just trying to give as much info as possible to get it fixed

The crash is in your video drivers, so it's related to your GPU drivers / integrated graphics configuration.

And how do i fix this?

Still don't really get why it only started a week ago while OBS was working perfect the past 5 months, i was really happy with OBS :s

Something changed a week ago then. Try to figure out what happened and change it back.

It's working again now, the only thing i did was clear space on my hard drive (nothing else).
Might this have been the problem?

I was on ~68GB Hard Drive Space left, cleared it to ~78GB Hard Drive Space left and now it magically works.

Will let you guys know if it stops working again if i notice my Hard Drive Space dropping to under 70GB again so it could help you out with future problems.

Thanks for quick replies, i hope it's fixed now :P

It's very unlikely. Maybe you had something else open which was using your GPU.

Yeah you must be right, looked back at the recording today and it's sound with a black screen aswell...
It's crashing again and i have nothing else running but the game and OBS.

Quite likely, game capture uses advanced GPU features that aren't well tested by GPU driver manufacturers.

Ok, thank you Rich. The monitor capture function with windowed mode seems to work now.
Keep on doing what you guys do, great work!
