Question / Help "Unhandled exception: c0000005" Random crash while streaming

Hi, I've been streaming with OBS for about 5 months and I've never had this issue before, but recently (about a week ago) OBS began randomly crashing with this error. I have the log pertaining to the crash as well as the log from when I initialized OBS, if anybody knows the solution to this crash I would love to fix this, it's very annoying to have to reinitialize OBS 3-4 times per stream.

Crash Log (I only took the thread with the actual crash):

(continuing from Jim's response in BrutallStatic's thread) Is there anything that can be done to give my PC a bit more breathing space?

Hey, thank you for continuing here. I realize that sometimes we don't always catch every thread or respond to every thread, but I appreciate you doing that just to prevent possible derailing of someone else's thread. Sorry that I didn't catch your thread initially.

As for what might be causing it in your case, I'm not sure, some sort of hardware issue must be occurring for you to be having this particular crash, as that's typically the only thing that can cause this crash. Have you had any other sort of issues with your PC?

No, so far this is it. It bluescreened once when I was downloading a game and playing Overwatch at the same time, but it never runs slow or bluescreens randomly or anything like that.

Well, bluescreen would also indicate hardware instability for sure. That's usually the only way a bluescreen can occur.

I'm not sure, I would probably recommend running some diagnostics of your computer. I'll have to ask somebody about what tools we usually recommend, I haven't had to deal with this sort of thing in quite a long time. I think the tool is called memtest86, but I can't quite remember -- I'll have to do more investigation
