Question / Help Unable to window capture anymore (ie chrome)

Monitor capture works fine fwiw but lately I'm unable to capture Chrome or anything. Window capture just doesn't work.. Running latest version 0.675b

Chrome changed things so you need to disable acceleration in it.

Nice! It works again. But what does hardware acceleration do? I turned it off. Will I miss it?
