Question / Help Unable to Use Plugins Ableton Live 10

I am new to the software and the forum. I have searched for and watched numerous videos. I must be missing something. I have tried ASIOPro Voicemmeter regular and Bananna. I can get audio from my Scarlett 18I20 and I can see the meters bouncing in voicemeeter and OBS I can record from OBS with audio. I cannot however use the plugins in ableton to get effects to record. If someone could help in this matter it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
Looks like Ive had a few people look at this post but no replies. Is this something that cannot be done?
 
Nevermind I got it. I am able to use all the side chains in OBS. So simple when you get the right info.
