Question / Help Unable to stream/run OBS

So I updated my drivers and updated DirectX, using DIrectX 11 at this point IIRC, and OBS crashes every time I try to stream or preview a stream. It continually tells me to update the drivers or make sure DirectX 10 is up to date. I'm not really sure what to do and any help would be appreciated.

Using a Samsung R480 Notebook

Your GPU does not fully support DirectX 10. Just because you have DirectX 11 installed does not mean your hardware supports it. You will not be able to use OBS on that laptop until the version with the OpenGL renderer comes out, and even then, your hardware is really underpowered for streaming, so you're going to have a really hard time streaming, regardless.

Wasn't really planning on streaming. I was more going to use it for recording. Any idea on when the update with the OpenGL comes out?

An initial alpha won't be out for a few more months.
