Just started and updated to the most current version of OBS. Now process starts when I click the shortcut and program does not open. Attempted to reinstall still same issue. I get the warning that it is already running when I try to click the shortcut again. Attempted to run 32 and 64bit versions of the client no change. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Dezmo, I see you are running Elgato and Ryzen 1700X.

This maybe the same problem I ran into after a recent Windows 10 Creator update so I offer a solution to you. There seems to be a driver bug in Elgato that causes OBS to initialize.

That it is Ryzen, Win 10, Elgato, and OBS related made this a pain in the ass to narrow down. This worked for me:

1) Turn off computer
2) Take out the HD 60 Pro card
3) Turn on computer
4) Download current version of Elgato Game Capture
5 )Turn off computer
6) Install Elgato HD 60 Pro Card
7) Turn on computer and run OBS Studio

Hopefully it saves yours or someone else's time.

Thanks I have the Elgato card the just plugs in USB. I updated that software also. I am just going to uninstall it and restart then try again.
