Bug Report Unable to see Game Capture HD (Elgato) (64bits)

Hi,

As the title says. There is no way to see the Elgato Game Capture HD producte in the Add Video Capture Device drop down menu while using the 64 bits version of OBS. The only way I made it work was with the 32 bits version.

Can't explain why and I was unable to find anything about that specific problem on the net. Took me a while to understand that it was related to the version of the OBS i used (32 vs 64).

I'm using v0.552b

As I understand it, there is no 64bit driver, so you can only see it in the 32bit version.

That would make sens. There is no choice for the software download/drivers. Anyway, I just use the 32bits version of OBS when I need to use my Elgato, it's no big deal.

I'll try to inform elgato about the lack of having 64bits compatible software/drivers.

It doesn't work with the 64bit version. They didn't implement a 64bit filter.

Did anyone get any response yet about the 64bit driver by elgato? I was looking about this for days since I bumped onto this thread! Nobody was referring to the 64bit incompatibility in any tutorial. This caused me to waste a lot of time browsing! Thanks for starting this thread!!!
