Hello,
I'm having issues recording using VAAPI on Linux. I've tried it on Fedora, OpenSUSE, Kubuntu, Deepin, Manjaro, and Arch.
When I was able to use VAAPI and actually get detected, it will output a 30 or 60 FPS video that looks like 5 FPS and I'll get "encoding overloaded" message.
It can't be overloaded since I'm not using the card for anything else, and the CPU usage is about 8% - 30% max
I'm not sure what I need to provide for you to be able to understand my issue, so please feel free to ask me which logs I need to post other than the one I've already included.
I Have:
Ryzen 5 2500 CPU
Sapphire Rx 590 GPU
16GB RAM
NVMe drive where I record
AMDGPU drivers are installed "mesa 19 and Vulkan"
I'm using Arch Linux now
