Question / Help Unable to Record Quest for Glory 5

Hello,

When I try to record Quest for Glory 5 with the most current OBS Studio, I'm able to record the audio but not the video. I'm running both the game and OBS as Admin.

I've attached my log.

The game is 19 years old and was designed to run on Win95. I'm not sure game capture is going to work. Does the game have a windowed option? You might be able to use window or display capture instead.

It doesn't appear to have a windowed option. So, I tried Display Capture and it takes a few seconds and then appears but only appears in a smaller window in the top left corner.

Probably because the game runs in a much lower resolution than your monitor's native resolution. Set your canvas size to match whatever the game runs at (640x480? 800x600? something in there) and it should fit. You could also try selecting the source and pressing Ctrl+F to fit it to the canvas.
