Question / Help Unable to record DragonBall xv2

Hi, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 simply doesn't show up on the sources and i can't record it. What can i do? I'm on windows 10 and 0.16.2 but i also tried 0.16.4 which i uninstalled because of the absence of minimum and maximum qp on constant qp. I also want to ask you wich one should i choose from constant bitrate or costant qp with H264 encoder AMD Advanced Media Framework.

Hi! Please post a log from a recording session where you experience this issue. The game not showing up in a game capture likely has nothing to do with what encoder you select.

You should also update to OBS Studio 0.16.5 and AMD AMF plugin 1.4.1.1 (or a newer version, when it's out). Min/Max QP was hidden in an AMD AMF plugin update because users often configured it incorrectly. You can still access it under advanced options, but we may not be able to support you once you start configuring those. The AMD AMF plugin is a bit complex. You'll want to read up on how to configure it properly.

Hi, Thanks for the replay. I know that it has nothing to do with the codec, but i wanted to ask wich option was better. I have no logs because the game is not showing up in sources so i didn't record. I used to record with chosen min and max qp for keeping the bitrate that i like without lag.

You should be able to post a log even without recording attempts. Just it won't show the encoding results if you don't record/stream
