Question / Help Unable to record anything other than 1080p

Hello, I'll get right into it. I'm trying to record a video in 1440p and it's only letting me record in 1080p, The start record button simply does nothing if i have it on any other resolution. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to fix this?

The problem is that, If I record in 1920x1080,. everything is fine. no problems whatsoever, Yet once i change my output resolution, the record button just refuses to work. So i can't get a lot file

Would posting a log file of the 1920x1080 benefit at all?

Post a log from a session where it doesn't work

But it doesn't create a log file since it doesn't actually start recording

A log file is created each time you run OBS, do you mean it just doesn't say anything about it in the log?

Oh, okay. Well if that's the case then here it is. This is me just opening it, attempting to record then changing the settings to 1920x1080 and the recording working

Try changing the profile from baseline to high to record higher resolutions.
