unable to locate captures

I am trying to find the files for some recorded gameplay i have but when i go to the folder where the videos are supposed to save, the folder is empty. the icon for the folder shows that there are captures inside it but when i open it, it is empty. when i try to find the folder through file explorer, the folder doesn't even exist.

2. Make sure you're recording to MKV
3. Try setting the Recording Path to something simple such as C:\Videos

it has created a folder called captures but nothing goes in when i record

hell, the captures folder wont even show up on obs

OBS does not use a folder called "captures", if you used c:\videos then OBS would save in c:\videos. Perhaps you have other software conflicting.
