I really need blurred background for my webcam so I read that StreamFX would be a way to go. I finally found the binaries for "streamfx-windows-0.12.0a151-g0f114f56" but after installing nothing shows up in OBS. I am on version 29.1.3. I have tried to manually move the streamfx files into the directory C:\Program Files\obs-studio\obs-plugins\StreamFX but with no luck. Any suggestions anyone?

If that doesn't work either, you might take a screenshot of the background without you in it, blur that, and save it as a static image. Then put up a green screen (or other solid color) and use OBS's native Chroma Key filter on the camera to turn that color into transparent. Put that over the blurred static image, and no one will know the difference...unless you wear the same color that the Key takes out!
