Question / Help Unable to get Preview or Go-Live button in Facebook

Hi

I have previously had no issues with streaming to Facebook, and recently streamed about 30 videos over 2 months from OBS (also streaming to Youtube and Twitch). Now this is probably not an OBS issue so apologies, but I'm hoping someone in the community has some ideas on how to solve this.

All of a sudden with exactly the same set-ups I no longer am able to Go Live in facebook with an OBS stream. When I start the stream in OBS, if see a new log entry in the Event Log that states "Live Service received the video signal ", and when I stop the stream I get a corresponding message. However I never get the preview coming up in Facebook, nor the Go-Live button becoming active.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can check?

I have tried disabling all firewalls, on the pc and the modem, power cycled, tried 2 different machines (including the one that worked for the last 2 months)

Hey Zach,

I finally managed to get this to work (with a workaround). I downloaded Firefox and was able to stream from there. Go live button displayed. Must be something in Chrome (and Internet Explorer) which is disallowing the preview/Go live button. Give it a try. Hopefully works for you too.
