Question / Help Unable to GameCapture a very old game/screen flickers on Screen Capture

Dear user(s),

I have encountered a major problem while attempting to stream a game I really wanted to show off to the world since it's so great.

The problem consists mainly of the game being unable to be GameCaptured by OBS, the screen is completely black.
When I attempted to screen capture my main computer window and thus the game, it was completely unwatchable. It flickered insanely often and you'd most likely have an epilepsy attack when attempting to watch it.

The suggested failure starts at 04:30, it becomes much more apparent and noticeable later on (09:00 and much later on).

Too many gamecaptures. Only one needed per scene collection capturing any full screen game.

You can try capturing specific exe for that game.

What do you mean good sir? I've only been capturing one gamecapture, namely the SpellForce 1 game in my recording/streaming scene

You only need one for all. Reuse in every scene (you have three game captures in one scene, indeed)




You can also try running OBS as admin. Maybe this is the solution you are looking for

Running as admin solved the GameCapture issue for now, I will keep this post updated if something goes wrong again since the problem related to the same game everytime
