Unable to game capture certain games

Heya there, I recently setup OBS Studio for streaming purposes again and I've run into a problem that I have never had before.
Certain games just don't like being captured with game capture. I've tried a few games out that work, those being osu!, Hunt: Showdown and Geometry Dash but for whatever reason Fortnite and Valorant both just don't show anything in OBS. It's not like the usual black screen issue I've seen a lot of people having, it doesn't show anything in that specific source.
If anybody has any idea what the reason for that could be, I'd appreciate the help. If there is any further info needed like logs then let me know.

I have now noticed that it seems to be a problem with DirectX. As soon as I change osu! from OpenGL to DirectX using the compatibility mode the game doesn't want to get captured anymore.

I have been having the same issue since about the exact same time. Have been able to stream fortnite, but nothing else appears through Epic Games. Only other game I’ve been able to stream is Left4Dead so any fix would be greatly appreciated.
