I've been searching for something to help me with this issue for a few days now, but to no avail. I'm currently attempting to enable the OSB Virtual Camera on my MBP M1 Pro, running 15.6.1. When I try to enable or delete the plugin, I get:
Failed to enable OBS Virtual Camera : The authorization was denied. OR
Failed to uninstall OBS Virtual Camera : The authorization was denied.
I've disabled SIP - nothing. I've ensured that I've added OBS to all the necessary places, including screen record, microphone, etc. nothing. I've reinstalled OBS several times...I've rebooted my machine like it was Windows. Any insight would be awesome.
Here is some more information:
OBS 32.0.2 (64 bit)
systemextensionsctl:
enabled active teamID bundleID (version) name [state]
* 2MMRE5MTB8 com.obsproject.obs-studio.mac-camera-extension (32.0.2/18749313472) OBS Virtual Camera [activated waiting for user]
I've also downgraded to 31.1.2, which did not change any behaviors.
Let me know where to look next. I'm running out of ideas.
