Bug Report Unable to Change Input for GameCapture HD

I have been using Elgato and OBS fine for months (almost a year). Then all the sudden tonight I have been having so many problems. First off. I was unable to get any response (or pop up) from I guess Elgato, when I go to Configure my Elgato Game Capture HD in the Properties Window in OBS. I click the configure button and nothing happens. I did find a work around sort of. When I restart my P.C. it allows it to be configured 1 time. Once I close the window, it will not pop back up again. No matter what I do, unless I restart my P.C. again. I can some what deal with that. But the biggest issue is that I am unable to change the input (on the window that only pops up once then is gone till the next restart) on the Game Capture HD "Settings" window. I can when I use the Elgato Stream software as well as Xsplit. Which is making me think this is an OBS issue only. Below is my log file (not sure if it helps in this case) and a screen shot of the my issues. PLEASE HELP!

Thanks for posting a log.

I would recommend that you
1. Update your Elgato drivers to the latest (if you aren't already on that)
2. Remove the Elgato source from OBS and re-add it.
3. If the Elgato isn't a global source, please make it such.

Also in general I would recommend that you update to Studio.

I have updated the drivers, and removed and re-added Elgato from OBS. I am brain farting on the Global Source thing at the moment. Can you refresh my memory on how to do that. And I will download studio if you think I should. I was hesitant because of it being kinda "Early" in development. But I will try it out.

Studio is in better shape and farther along, and has more features then Classic does. Also given that Classic hasn't received any meaningful updates for over 1 year (just bug fixes to keep it limping along until everyone can/does move over to Studio), I would recommend that you make the move.

As to Global Sources in Classic, click the Global Sources button > Add > Video Capture Device. In scenes where the device should be present, right click in the Sources box > Add > Global Source.

Also keep in mind that you can have both Studio and Classic installed, and they won't step on each other. So you can take your time moving over.
