Question / Help Unable to capture window with aero enabled.

I am attempting to capture the preview screen of RECentral using window capture in OBS, but it only shows a black screen with aero enabled. When aero is disabled, I can capture the window properly, but the RECentral preview screen has significant screen-tearing (likely due to the lack of v-sync from not using aero.) Is there a way to capture this window with aero enabled? Or are there other workarounds to prevent screen-tearing? Any input would be appreciated.

Some more info - Using multiple monitors with a GTX 770 (I've heard of problems due to multiple monitors and nvidia gpus.)
As for why I'm not simply adding my capture card as a source in obs, I'm capturing a ps3 via HDMI. I am currently incapable of bypassing HDCP, this is the only method I have to capture with OBS.

EDIT: Here is log file of the attempted capture with aero enabled: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/b2fb2252c0babc468d3e

The program will block it from being captured with Aero on. Only Monitor Capture, and Window Capture with Aero off will work. It has been this way since the beginning. I personally just use Monitor Capture under Windows 8.1 since Aero is always on.
