Question / Help Unable to add Video Sources

Whenever I try to add a video source OBS studio stops responding, then when I reopen it to view the logs it says things are missing. This is really annoying. I think it started happening in version 15.4

What device, model?

Try to make new Scene Collection and new Profile, then add 'Video Capture Device' and re-select the device from the list of devices (if possible). Click OK button and Upload Current Log File (if application not respond, close OBS and start it again, then Upload Last Log File).

I tried doing what you said to do.

Here is the log file, it still didn't work. It seems some things are missing but I did a full install.

This is notebook cam, isn't it? You cannot unplug it?

Try to run OBS Studio as admin.

I don't even get to the point where I can select a video capture device, I click to add a video capture source, it brings up the menu to create a new source or add an existing since I don't have any existing I go to add new and that is when obs stops responding

You can try to install any virtual cam to your PC and see if you able to add it as cam into obs.

I restarted my computer and it is working now, I don't know if it is because I installed a Virtual Webcam or the windows update fixed something that was wrong. Anyway thanks for your help.
