Two requests: keep recording on net fail; straight preview to record

Hi all. If these features are already possible, please let me know. I use OBS to record conference presentations, generally worts great. Got Elgato for slides/demo capture, Extremecap U3 for camera. Weirs 250ms delay I have to put on audio, but that is another issue (ideas?). Two features I would love:

keep recording on net fail
Maybe this is fixes already, not tested in a bit. If I was streaming to the Internet and recording to the hard drive at the same time, a network failure would cause both to stop. Networks are not very reliable at hacker cons. :) anyway it could just let you know the stream has stopped, but still keep dumping video to file so you have it to post later? One of the reasons I don't stream live from cons.

Straight preview to record
The Elgatos take a bit to warm up, and I hate displaying their logo as a free ad in the mean time. Is there a way to go straight from the preview to recording with no delay?

Thanks, love the software. If you are a dev, love to talk to you at a con.

Settings > Broadcast Settings > Check the "Keep recording if live stream stops" box.

Going from preview to streaming/recording isn't currently possible as far as I know. You could add the Elgato as a global source and uncheck it from your scene before you start streaming, then enable it after a few seconds when the initialization graphic is gone. Global sources are "always on" so it would initialize even though it wasn't enabled in that particular scene.
