Question / Help Two PCs with one stream

I have done a bit of reading about this but haven't seen a great guide/explanation.

I am new to streaming in general so bare with me while I try to explain everything or if I don't understand your reply.

My wife and I would like to start streaming. We each have perfectly capable gaming PCs.

I would like to set a stream up that would rotate(switch) our screens every X seconds and leave our cameras both on the screen all the time.

I have access to a third PC if necessary.

If there is a guide for this please just point me in the right direction as I have no had luck finding it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you and I look forward to poking around here much more!

If the computers are close together, just put a capture card in the one that will do the streaming and run a macro to fire the scene hotkeys. I do something similar for a Picture-in-Picture setup:

Also, is there any way to do this via my network rather than purchasing something?
