Thank you to all who have written so much and made so many videos on this subject. I have read a ton of articles and watched a lot of videos. I think I have confused my self. Any help here would be grand!
Goal: To be able to use PTT with Discord on gaming PC as I always have. I would like for Team in discord, as well as my voice in Discord, along with game sound and music if on, to be in stream. Discord is on gaming PC and I am using a usb Razer Kraken headset with that PC. I also need to be able to hear the team and game in this headset. Yeti mic plugged to Streaming pc to be PTT for commentary to stream (Team can not hear unless they are watching stream)
I thought this would be as simple as ALL sound from my game computer transmitted to Stream computer via HDMI from GPU. Yeti Mic into stream Computer. And maybe it is I am just not setting it right.
I have a mixer but haven't hooked it up, will need some adapters etc for that, in the meantime, I am hoping I can get set up with what I have to start streaming, and then work on understanding and taking my stream to the next level. Also realized that both my headset and Yeti are USB, so not sure I can even use the mixer, unless I get xlr mics.
I have VAC
Using Elgato HD60 Pro have sound capture installed on both pcs.
HAve Elgato stream deck, but not worried about that until i get the audio proper. Once that is done, I can use the deck to start/stop stream, recording or mute live commentary mic. No room for two boards and two mice on this desk.
I am getting side tracked. Any help sorting the audio would be so appreciated. I think I am trying to many methods or too many programs. IE should I use JUST vac and audio repeaters or JUST sound capture software from elgato or BOTH.
I am struggling with understanding the "names" in sounds. I can "listen" to my headset mic and output it to elgato capture, but then the head set mic is always open and no one wants to hear me breathe!
Thank you for reading and thank you in advance if anyone cares to help me out. This is my first attempt at streaming.

Would sound cards make this happen?
