Question / Help Two new issues with OBS [PC Studder, Fail Recordings]

So these are both new I think with the last update.

The first is my PC now studders once I start streaming with OBS, it never did this before. Examples are like music skipping, games skipping, and such while playing.

My settings for OBS are the same, as always, quality 8, 720p at 30fps, and set to veryfast.

Second, Usually I just record my streams to my hard drive, today it did something weird, it shows the recording, the file is mp4, the bytes, but it wont show the length of the video, and no video player will play it. All my others show the length of the recording, and play, its done this a few times.

Ok, it only seems to start skipping if I turn on Video Capture, if I turn that off, it stops. This is my web cam tho =/

Try going into your webcam source settings and setting a custom resolution lower than 1920x1080. That webcam seems to cause problems in OBS at 1080p.
